You know the saying, "Were you raised in a barn?" Well, I practically was! Growing up on our family farm in Riverton, I was surrounded by animals from a very young age. This early exposure ignited my passion for pets and set me on a path toward a career in animal care. It wouldn’t have been possible without the influence of my grandmother and mother, who were equally obsessed with animals. Their love and dedication inspired me to pursue this dream wholeheartedly.

Deacon exemplifies all the reasons I love working with animals. Whether lounging at home, competing in shows, or socializing at the park, he always sits like a true gentleman with his front legs crossed. Hence, "Fancy Paws" seemed the perfect name to honor my beloved companion, who embodies elegance and class.

My family has been breeding, grooming, and showing Australian Shepherds for as long as I can remember. This naturally instilled a competitive spirit in me, driving me to maintain high standards in everything I do. Some may call it being "picky," but I see it as a commitment to excellence. With over 20 years of experience in professional dog grooming, I have showcased and competed with various breeds, particularly the Australian Shepherd. I have also managed other businesses for more than 10 years, gaining valuable insights into customer service and operational excellence.
Growing up in a veterinary clinic and working as a technician for many years have equipped me with the knowledge and expertise in medical care, further enriching the level of service I provide.
